What's going on here?
We have partnered with a local Australian company to use their repolymerisation process to create these high quality towels from recycled plastic bottles. Our graphics team then create the gorgeous two-tone designs, to limit the use of ink.
Globally, over 51 billion plastic bottles find their way to landfill each year, and sadly, over 8 million tons ends up in our oceans. By purchasing an All Blue microfibre beach towel you are slowly increasing the demand for repolymerized plastics which, in turn, reduces the amount of plastic that finds its way into the sea. At least 6 PET bottles are used in the manufacturing of each All Blue beach towel.
Caring for your towel (& carry case)
We would recommend giving it a quick wash in cold / warm water before use. This will help to "open" the fabric making it more absorbent.
In the future, it can be thrown into the wash with the rest of the cold / warm wash items together with standard washing detergents. However, it should not be washed with bleach or stain removers.
Do not machine dry - it will dry quickly after being hung out
Do not iron
You should find that your towel gets both softer and more absorbent with use. This is perfectly normal and one of the benefits of this material
